Brasted's in Framingham Pigot was the venue for Daniel and Sharon's wedding. Michael and his team there were up to their usual amazing standards as hosts to the lucky couple. I was able to cover the bridal preparations which took place at home before meeting Sharon at the venue where the the girls arrived in style. A beautiful (and emotional) service started with the bride walking down the aisle with her Dad, who then gave her hand to Daniel - tears of joy ensued from Sharon who, it was obvious, had been waiting for this moment all her life. Ok, so Daniel may have had slightly watery eyes at one point too but I won't mention that.....
The group shots were done immediately after the ceremony, the three of us then disappeared off together for a little while to catch some more romantic moments in the amazing grounds of Brasted's. We got back in good time for the wedding breakfast (which was nothing short of outstanding!) and of course the speeches, where some photos of the day were handed out to parents, courtesy of myself, which I had been printed out during the meal - a laptop and mouse in one hand and a fork in the other, just in time for the speeches. We then disappeared outside again to get some night time shots, using off-camera flash. Daniel and Sharon were only too happy to have some more pics done, adding another dimension to their images that were to be chosen for their album. It was a pleasure to work with you both, and of course your family and friends. I'm glad you love your photo's, we sure had a giggle along the way too! Your album has just arrived from Italy, I can't wait for you to see it guys. Big love x P.S. These images have been edited and post-processed in a slightly "vintage" style for this blog. I really love the results, do you? x

Great to catch up with some blogs I'd always meant to post but time restraints said otherwise!
This lovely couple came to mind after I've been invited to take some pics of their imminent arrival a little later in the year. I was recommended to Abby and Jamie after I did some photography for Jamie's sister, it was great to catch up with them at the wedding. Thank you for the recommendation guys! x The day started with Bridal preparation at Mum and Dad's (where I was privileged enough to be show Dad's beautiful old Lambretta in the garage!) Their wedding and evening reception took place at the amazing Southwood Hall in Norfolk, which is an absolute dream for any photographer! The wedding guests fell silent as Abby walked down the aisle with her immensely proud Dad, emotions ran high for everybody which set the scene for a perfect ceremony. After the ceremony we got the group shots completed, then myself together with Abby and Jamie disappeared off for a little while and got some great shots. Enjoying some "time out" with each other, they were perfectly at ease and needed very very little direction from me for the photographs, it seemed to come naturally for them as I snapped away. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day and I very much look forward in catching up with you very soon for more photos, albeit of a slightly different style! Big Love x I didn't upload these at the time due to workload but I think you'll agree, they certainly deserve a quick blog!
I shot Marie and Billy's wedding a few years back, and once again I appear to have become the "family photographer". It warms the soul to think I've been invited back into these people's lives at such monumental times, thank you guys. A couple of out-takes in there too; Billy helping out and some of Billy just being Billy! Haha! Big Love x Great to catch up with some old work colleagues last week! It seems a lot has happened since we last spoke. There were 2, now there are 3! Meet young Casey.......
At just 9 months old, Casey was an absolute star and a joy to work with. With a little help from Mummy (chief face puller) and Daddy (senior dribble monitor) Casey pulled out all the stops and smiled virtually the whole way through and was keen to show us his many stances he's learned already (sitting up, waving, doing the crab, clapping) we got some great pics on the day. The images were uploaded shortly after for Mummy and Daddy (and probably Nanna and Grandad too I suspect!) to choose from, a couple of days later I received the best text message ever to say that rather than choose between them, they'd love to have them all! Yes, all 107!! A total honour and a true pleasure to photograph you little man, thank you. Big thanks also to Mummy and Daddy, Hannah and Gary. Big love xx |
