The Wedding Photography took place at The Oaklands Hotel in Norwich, Norfolk on Saturday 21st November.
By Emma's very own admission, they were two people who really didn't like having their photographs taken! I LOVE these kinds of clients, I get to show off not just my photography skills but also my calming influences to prove to them that they're going to actually enjoy having their pics taken. And that's just what happened, I've just had this lovely message from Emma...... " Hi how are you? I keep meaning to send you a message to thank you for your work on our wedding day. The pictures you printed for us on the day are lovely, we're very excited to see some more. For two people who don't like having their photo taken you made us feel very at ease!". It was cold, raining, snowing, hailing but the elements did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of Emma and Adam, or indeed their guests. After the ceremony, we all left the warmth of inside to brave the weather outside when the group pics were done, along with some great shots of my bride and groom. They were completely up for doing some pretty "out there" stuff too, both inside the venue and outside (complete with umbrella), and in the dark! You get one chance at getting the shots you want on your wedding day, these guys were totally in the zone and trusted me to get some unusual shots I just know they'll love. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, enjoy your sneaky peaks! Big Love x p.s. A big thank you to the newly renovated Oaklands Hotel and the team there for their hospitality on the day. http://www.oaklands-hotel.co.uk/

The photography took place in Norwich, Norfolk. It was a special occasion for Tracey, the photo shoot marked an important birthday - she wouldn't tell me which one but I think it started with a five and ended with a zero?!?
The day itself was fairly flat as far as lighting went so I took some extra equipment along and did some off-camera flash work, with a huge softbox. They donned their finest cloth and prepared for the walk through the woodland which Tracey had suggested and these are the results of the professional photography and superb dress sense! Two of the kindest and most genuine people you could meet, we definitely had a giggle along the way though for sure! For example, the quote of the day has to be: "Ryan, would you mind taking me from behind please? I'd really like that......." After quite a long tumbleweed moment had passed, the request was clarified - Please see the images 12 and 14 for what Tracey was ACTUALLY referring to! A huge thank you to you both, I hope you LOVE your images. Oh and Happy *0th Birthday Tracey! Big Love xx |
