You know you're doing something right when you're asked back by a client to photograph their other son, Dexter. I photographed his big brother Wilson a few years back at the same age and so now it's little Dexter's turn, it was time to get the camera out and head to Earlham Park here in Norfolk for some summer sun and giggles.
Just like his big bro, Dexter is a determined little fella, there was no doubt who was in control during this photo shoot, ha ha! Some children are easily guided in terms of what makes a good photo and they will take your lead, others you have to just let them do their thing, Dexter definitely falls into the latter category so I just let him get on with doing whatever he wanted to do and snapped away. He was so happy doing what he was doing, there was no need to intervene - this approach made for some fantastic photo opportunities as you can see. Such a strong personality, with Mummy's help he was a little star on the day. We had great fun too, I made a deal with Dexter that if he went in the river for a paddle, I would too! Me and my big mouth....... Before I'd even finished the sentence, our shoes were off and we were both in the water (me clutching my £2.5k worth of camera equipment very tightly!), sometimes you just gotta get in the zone, right? Thank you for a great afternoon Dexter (and Mummy!) Big Love x
